What confuses you most about the world?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 12, 2008:
Why do people choose to do mean things, when they could do fun things? The way I see it, being nice fills me with sparkly happiness, and being mean hurts. It hurts me and others, too. Being nice is WAY more fun! Why can't we just love and play and hug? If people are angry or need something, we can do our best to heal them and help them. Eveything is SO beautiful in the shape that the Universe, in its wisdom, created it. Let's share that together. Why not? I mean, really. I'm serious.

(smiling) This is why I come here. Thank you, Martha. Yes! Why not? I mean, really.
Planting a kiss smack dab in the middle of your forehead :)

You are a nice thing…
LOL
BIG {{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}} to both of you! I'm smiling… :)
Yeah I love the Baby Tulips. What a happy picture!
YAY!!! Jumping up and down, Carla! :)
Happy Easter!
Beautiful martha. Thank you so much for sharing these sentiments.
Let's Do Fun Things! :-)
Amazing picture… and the video too… There is difficult to be nice, because you have to be nice for real… you can not pretend it… and it is hard if you are not used to it, or you are not loved… maybe if we love more, other people can change… and learn to love, to be nice… I know is difficult, I wish the whole world to be like this lovely tulips photo…
Hi Maze! Happy Easter to you, too, Magoo! :)
Yeah Nishtha, let's do fun things!
Hi Asteri, Yeah, it's hard to pretend to be nice, but mostly I really think it's our “natural” place that we all come from unless, as you say, we lack love in our lives. You're so right. It DOES help to love more. Thanks for those thoughts.
Hi Martha, Please be so nice and go with me to Celine Dion's concert in December / glendale arena! I have such a bad taste in Music that it is hard for me to find a company : )
Ah Joanna, truly you must be desperate! Celine Dion is ok with me. Hmm. Let me think. You know, I haven't gone to a large concert since… since… it's hard to remember! um, since Paul McCartney? That was in, like, 1987 or something? Well, I've been to concerts at the fair, but that doesn't really count. Generally I'm a stay-at-home type, but I'll send you a message so we can talk about it. Certainly it is lovely to be asked by someone as nice as you! Thank you for thinking of me.
Martha, Oh I am not desperate at all! You are the trird person I am asking and I will be ok to go on my own. I juts thought that since you put here something that has to do with Celine Dion, so you probably are not one of those people who blame her for every disatster that happens : )
Oh, well actually I just posted it because it was about Anne Geddes–about creating images and art that were just about gentleness and cuteness and beauty. I had actually forgotten that it included Celine Dion, and when I read your last message, I had to scroll up to check. How silly of me! Oh well. I hope you don't end up going to the concert alone. Take care and best wishes.
Don't worry Martha :) I like going out alone. It has some advantages : )
